| Then Again, It May Not Be by Saturday It happened again. I only got fourteen paragraphs written for the Part Five mini-series Story Outline for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. Why did I only get the Teaser Act and Act One of this Story Outline written today? That’s a good question. Unfortunately, I don’t have an answer for it. I don’t know why I only got fourteen paragraphs written for the Part Five mini-series Story Outline. Well, that isn’t completely true. What is the usual reason why I don’t get more written in a day than I should have? That’s right, it’s because of what my brother and I had to do today. It’s not as bad as it reads, though. I didn’t know that my brother and I had a lot that we needed to get done today. Not only that, but I didn’t know it would take us most of today to accomplish it. As a result, I only had about four hours to work on this scriptwriting project. Once again, it’s not as bad as it reads. After all, that’s three or four paragraphs every hour, or fifteen or twenty minutes for each paragraph. Fifteen or twenty minutes doesn’t read like it’s a good amount of time to write a paragraph, but it is for me. It’s very good for me. Of course, I would like to write five or six paragraphs every hour, or ten or twelve minutes for each paragraph, but I’m lucky if I can get three or four paragraphs written in a hour. Hopefully, that will change a lot with my Scene Outlines and my scripts, especially my Scene Outlines. Hopefully, I will be able to do that, and I think that I can. After all, I will have more freedom when it comes to my Scene Outlines. The paragraphs for my Story Outlines will be four or five lines long, but those four or five lines will represent three or four scenes in my Scene Outlines. As for my scripts, there is no pattern to them, except that each scene is an average of fifteen seconds/lines long. That’s just the way I like to write my paragraph Outlines and my scripts. There is a pattern for my Story and Scene Outlines, but there isn’t one for my scripts. What does all this mean for this scriptwriting project? It means that I have twenty-eight more paragraphs to write before I finish writing this Part Five mini-series Story Outline and my mini-series Story Outlines. That also means that I probably won’t get it done before Friday. Of course, I have written twenty-eight paragraphs in one day before. So, I could do it again tomorrow, but there is always a very good chance I won’t be able to do it again tomorrow. I hope that I can do it again tomorrow, but I’m not going to count on that happening until it does. If I only have the Tag Act to write before I go to work on Saturday at six PM WDC time, I may be able to finish my mini-series Story Outlines before I return to work this weekend. That could happen. After all, I have been having a little bit of time to get some writing done on Saturdays lately. That may be mute, though. After all, this Saturday is the first of November. That means a new WDC prompt will be showing up within the next three days. It also means that when that prompt shows up, I will be starting to work on my WDC Short Story for that month. That could happen on Saturday. |
