Knots of Joy, Lots of Joy

Hearts we knit. Likewise, our joys.
Our days fore'er are God's good gift.
Embroidery thread or knotted craft,
each stronger smile, emotions lift.

Sometimes we craft by memory's rote.
At other times, some newer thing,
but in the moment, what we make
brings peace, that daily helps us sing.

The movements of these threads in hand
unbridle the mind by the sweetest touch.
The words pull through in this poem's line
as threads make knots, that knot so much.
